Festival week has arrived!

19 August 2026

Wet weather has arrived in Alice Springs as well, but nothing can dampen our spirits! Marquees are going up at the venues and the festival will go ahead no matter what, so no need to fear that your plans will go awry.

If you haven’t already, make sure you book your festival and day pass, and grab tickets to the workshops and special events of your choice as well!

Check out the full program and book your tickets here.

Passageways [Caminos]

Bridging poetry, science and culture.

We joined forces with Chile’s International Poetry Festival (ACRUX) to create an event under the stars that merges poetry with science!

Join us out at White Gums tomorrow night to watch nine poets – six Australian and three Chilean – working with Australian Scientists to explore three core concepts: Waterways, Signways & Skyways.

Thursday 20 August, 6pm – 9pm
White Gums NT, Australia
Gates open at 6pm for a 7pm showtime. Food trucks on site.

Don’t miss this event held at White Gums. Tick the box saying you want to be on the bus leaving the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 6pm if you need a ride – don’t be late!

Attention Pass Holders! A festival pass does give you free access to attend Passageways, but does not automatically grant you a seat on the bus, so please click the link below to ‘book’ your free ticket onto the bus.
